The Potential of Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Realities (LIVE webinar)



Augmented, virtual, and mixed realities have great
potential for learning, work, and social engagement. They also have ethical
concerns that need consideration before they are fully embraced. 

It is
important for librarians to understand these technologies to determine how they
can best be used in the library and how users may want to interact with these
technologies.

In this interactive and informative session attendees
will the presenter will receive a thorough overview of the similarities and
differences that exist between augmented, virtual, and mixed realities. 

There
will also be a discussion of current use cases and potentialities for future
growth. Finally, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss how they see
augmented, virtual, and mixed reality technology impacting their libraries.
